|Recommended: YesReasonable prices, good maintenance, and plenty of space. — Bristol Ridge is a pretty friendly community and personally I had no issues with other residents or staff for the 1.5 years that I lived there. The walls must be insulated well because not once did I ever hear my neighbors. However, I was on the top floor so it's possible you can hear footsteps in lower units. Parking always available but spots are too small. Maintenance is good and grounds are upkept well. My unit was a 2BR 2BR 800 square feet for around 800. Probably won't find anything else in Urbandale at that price range for the size and quality. My only complaints would be front doors into the building were not secure at all, especially the front door. It was often propped open with something and the keypad did not work for the entire 1.5 years I was there. This caused problems with deliveries since UPS FedEx Amazon had no way to get in unless the door was already propped open. Therefore, they would often leave packages outside instead in front of your apartment door. Inconvenient for everyone involved and offers more opportunity for theft not that this was a problem I myself had . The only other thing is in the 2BR units, the window unit in the living room cannot keep the far bedroom cool at all. This is especially true if your unit faces the west and is not at all shaded. If it's 90 degrees and the afternoon hours, forget about it. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.

|Recommended: Yes5 year review — We rented at the property for 5 years. Over all we had a good experience with neighbors and property staff. At times the parking lot was a problem do to so many unknow cars parking at the property or neighbors having more then the allowed cars. At some point we had some issues with the upstairs neighbors bathroom flowing and getting water on ours, we call to report and they never stop by to fix the floors and the celling we try to clean as best as possible. The manager later give us a 10 dollar card to clean our towels we had to used. The building doors were lock at all times only allowing residents with key to enter, but in the last year it change anyone was able to walk in the building and taking and mail at our front doors. The staff was always nice and they try to be helpful but at times it took several days and call to get things fix.
|Recommended: YesI just moved in but everyone here is very friendly and I love the apartment — It is quiet and friendly
|Recommended: YesSimple Living in Urbandale — The first and greatest consideration of these apartments is the available space, and to those looking for a good amount of space at a reasonable price, I recommend Bristol Ridge. The only turn-off is the lack of central cooling, but I found using a small personal air conditioner works just as well. The apartments are quiet, and parking is usually not an issue, even when I have friends over.
|Recommended: YesGreat location, nice amenities, good price — It’s awesome
|Recommended: YesOne month in and I am very happy so far — The couple of maintenance issues that I have experienced have been promptly taken care of. The building is quiet and the neighbors are nice. I will say that some patios are not well maintained by the tenants and should be rectified. It makes the property look bad.

|Recommended: YesNice and am in love with the place already — Is a very nice place
|Recommended: YesManagement Maintenance is GREAT. Tenants are the issue- loud, messy, ghetto — It's decent, great location. Rent is a bit high for what you get, but maintenance is by far the best quickest of any other apartment I have lived at in the metro. Pretty sure a drug dealer lives across the hall from me, but they keep to themselves except for the constant random ppl coming in and out for 10 minutes all the time.
